The popular RuneScape online casino, RSGambling.com, has abruptly shut down following a series of persistent distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks allegedly orchestrated by a competitor known as Killian. The attacks rendered the website inoperable, disrupting services for thousands of users.

The situation escalated when Killian reportedly convinced the hosting provider, OVH, to delete RSGambling.com's database and web server. This action effectively erased all of the casino's data, forcing the sudden closure.

In a statement, RSGambling.com's management expressed their devastation over the unexpected turn of events. "We have been under relentless attack for weeks, culminating in the complete deletion of our server and database. Despite our best efforts to recover and secure our platform, we are left with no choice but to shut down operations."

OVH, a leading web hosting service, has not yet commented on the incident. Industry experts suggest that the manipulation of the hosting provider highlights significant vulnerabilities in the web hosting and cybersecurity landscape.

The downfall of RSGambling.com serves as a stark reminder of the importance of robust cybersecurity measures and the potential consequences of cyberattacks in the increasingly digital world.
