10-Year-Old Ossi from Vammala Attempts to Break Diabolo Grinding World Record on Finnish TV Show
Vammala, Finland – The small town of Vammala is buzzing with excitement as its young resident, 10-year-old Ossi, prepares to make a mark in the world of diabolo. Ossi is set to appear on the popular Finnish TV show "Ennätystehdas" (Record Factory) in a bid to break the world record for the longest diabolo grind.
Ossi, a passionate diabolo enthusiast, has been practicing his skills diligently for months, inspired by his dream of setting a new world record. The current record for the longest diabolo grind stands at an impressive 1 minute and 35 seconds, and Ossi is determined to surpass this time.

"I’ve always loved playing with the diabolo," Ossi said in an interview. "It's challenging but so much fun.
The diabolo, a juggling prop consisting of an axle and two cups or discs, is spun and manipulated using a string attached to two hand sticks. Grinding, one of the most visually impressive tricks, involves balancing the spinning diabolo on the edge of a stick for as long as possible.
Ossi's parents are incredibly supportive of their son's ambition. "We are so proud of Ossi," said his mother. "He has put in countless hours of practice and has shown great dedication and perseverance. Whatever the outcome, he has already achieved so much."
The filming of Ossi's record attempt will take place in Helsinki, and the episode is scheduled to air next month. The entire town of Vammala is eagerly awaiting the broadcast, with many planning to host viewing parties to cheer on their local hero.
"Ossi is an inspiration to all of us," said his teacher, who prefers to remain anonymous. "He has shown that with hard work and determination, even the loftiest goals can be within reach. The whole school is behind him."
